Walk through gilded hallways and through intricate gardens with your fiancée as you marvel at the 17th century influence of the Bourbon monarchs and the reigns of the Sun King, Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. The castle tour includes a guided visit through the Great State apartments, the Queen’s aPartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Gallery of Battles.

Beyond the marbled walls of the palace, walk through the tulip-studded gardens and past fountains and sculptures. The garden’s architecture and bright ambiance can be credited to centuries of French design savoir-faire and artistry, and is the perfect spot to kneel and pop the question - surrounded by old school luxury and charm.

The tour can be extended to a full day to include the estate of Marie Antoinette, including the Grand Canal, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, ending at the Queen’s Hamlet, a thatched cottage used as a private theatre.
